ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. PP37,086, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Syngenta Crop Protection AG (Basel, Switzerland).
"Chrysanthemum plant named 'CIFZ0119'" was invented by Wendy R. Bergman (Gilroy, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A new Chrysanthemum plant named 'CIFZ0119' particularly distinguished by its dark pink and white striped flowers, daisy-type inflorescences, excellent flower production, moderate growth and spreading plant habit, and very uniform flowering with response time of 7 weeks when grown under short days."
The patent was filed on Feb. 18, 2025, under Application No. 19/055,613.
