US Patent Issued to Stone Aerospace on Jan. 28 for "Method of recovery of optical fiber expended during launch of a spacecraft into low earth orbit using a non-line-of-sight optical power transfer system" (Maryland, Texas Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 29 -- United States Patent no. 12,210,192, issued on Jan. 28, was assigned to Stone Aerospace Inc. (Del Valle, Texas).

"Method of recovery of optical fiber expended during launch of a spacecraft into low earth orbit using a non-line-of-sight optical power transfer system" was invented by William C. Stone (Del Valle, Texas) and Bartholomew P. Hogan (Rockville, Md.).
