ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,428,625, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Sorbonne Universite (Paris), INSERM (Institut National de la Sante et de la Recherche Medicale) (Paris) and Assistance Publique-Hopitaux de Paris (Paris).
"Virus-like particles which can be used in the treatment of allergies" was invented by Bertrand Bellier (Paris) and David Klatzmann (Paris).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention relates to a virus-like particle comprising an allergen and an immunoregulatory molecule exposed on its surface. The invention also relates to the use of said particle in the treatment of an allergy."
