ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,458,655, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Societe des Produits Nestle S.A. (Vevey, Switzerland).

"Compositions for use in the prevention or treatment of necrotizing enterocolitis in infants or young children born by C-section" was invented by Per Torp Sangild (Copenhagen NV, Denmark).
