US Patent Issued to Sintokogio on April 15 for "Method for producing tetrahydroboric acid salt, device for producing tetrahydroboric acid salt, and tetrahydroboric acid salt" (Japanese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,275,643, issued on April 15, was assigned to Sintokogio Ltd. (Nagoya, Japan).

"Method for producing tetrahydroboric acid salt, device for producing tetrahydroboric acid salt, and tetrahydroboric acid salt" was invented by Masahiko Nagasaka (Toyokawa, Japan) and Tomoji Ishida (Toyokawa, Japan).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for producing a tetrahydroborate includes a hydrogenating step (step S14) of exposing a borate to a hydrogen plasma while grinding the borate."

The patent was filed on Feb. 8, 2019, under Application No. 17/271,367.
