ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,429,543, issued on Sept. 30, was assigned to Siemens Healthineers AG (Forchheim, Germany) and University of Utah Research Foundation (Salt Lake City).

"Simultaneous multi-slab thermometry during MR-guided thermal therapy" was invented by Sunil Goraksha Patil (Ellicott City, Md.), Henrik Odeen (Salt Lake City), Himanshu Bhat (Newton, Mass.), John Roberts (Salt Lake City), Dennis L. Parker (Centerville, Utah) and Bradley Drake Bolster Jr. (Sandy, Utah).
