ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 17 -- United States Patent no. 12,311,418, issued on May 27, was assigned to SEVENSON ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES INC. (Niagara Falls, N.Y.).

"System for the controlled distribution of aquatic capping material and the capture of dust and particulates" was invented by Michael C. Elia (Burt, N.Y.), Steven C. Shaw (Bel Air, Md.) and Wayne Arthur Kostuk (Niagara Falls, N.Y.).
