ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,357,826, issued on July 15, was assigned to SetPoint Medical Corp. (Valencia, Calif.).

"Extremely low duty-cycle activation of the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway to treat chronic inflammation" was invented by Jacob A. Levine (West Hempstead, N.Y.) and Michael A. Faltys (Valencia, Calif.).
