ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,382,862, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Scythe Robotics Inc. (Longmont, Colo.).

"Orientation-based mower control" was invented by Davis Thorp Foster (Boulder, Colo.), Robert Johnstone Mccutcheon IV (Longmont, Colo.), John Gordon Morrison (Longmont, Colo.) and Isaac Heath Roberts (Longmont, Colo.).
