ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,509, issued on June 24, was assigned to Scandium International Mining Corp. (Reno, Nev.).

"Byproduct scandium recovery from low grade primary metal oxide ores" was invented by Willem P. C. Duyvesteyn (Reno, Nev.).
