ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,533,411, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to Sanofi-Aventis U.S LLC (Morristown, N.J.) and The Regents of the University of California (Oakland, Calif.).

"Compositions comprising anti-CD38 antibodies and carfilzomib" was invented by Blake Tomkinson (Bridgewater, N.J.), Blake T. Aftab (San Francisco), Byron C. Hann (San Francisco) and Thomas G. Martin III (San Francisco).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed herein are compositions and kits which comprise anti-CD38 antibodies and carfilzomib compounds. Also disclosed are methods for treating cancers, such as multiple myeloma, in subjects with the compositions and kits."
