US Patent Issued to Sanaria on Sept. 9 for "Live attenuated oral vaccine against shigellosis and typhoid fever" (Maryland Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,409,213, issued on Sept. 9, was assigned to Sanaria Inc. (Rockville, Md.).

"Live attenuated oral vaccine against shigellosis and typhoid fever" was invented by Yun Wu (Rockville, Md.), Dennis J. Kopecko (Silver Spring, Md.), B. Kim Lee Sim (Gaithersburg, Md.) and Stephen L. Hoffman (Gaithersburg, Md.).
