ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 13 -- United States Patent no. 12,521,454, issued on Jan. 13, was assigned to RIGSHOSPITALET (Copenhagen, Denmark).
"68 Ga- and 64 Cu-NODAGA-E[c(RGDyK) 2 for use as PET tracers in the imaging of angiogenesis in humans" was invented by Andreas Kjaer (Frederiksberg, Denmark), Jacob Madsen (Copenhagen, Denmark), Malene Brandt-Larsen (Copenhagen, Denmark) and Jytte Oxboel (Copenhagen, Denmark).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided two angiogenesis clinical PET tracers, namely 68Ga-NODAGA-E[c(RGDyK)]2 and 64Cu-NODAGA-E[c(RGDyK)]2 for imaging of neo-angiogenesis in humans."
