ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,534, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Regents of the University of Minnesota (Minneapolis).
"Methods for treating cancer" was invented by Michael Kyba (Minneapolis) and Darko Bosnakovski (Minneapolis).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A method for treating a cancer involving one or more translocations generating an oncogenic fusion transcription factor that requires p300/CBP for activity in an animal, comprising administering a compound of formula (I): or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof to the animal."
The patent was filed on Feb. 7, 2024, under Application No. 18/435,413.
