ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,257,275, issued on March 25, was assigned to PURE CULTURES INC. (Denver).
"Probiotics and fermentation metabolites for the prevention and treatment of disease conditions in animals" was invented by Steven K. Kazemi (Denver) and Naseer Sangwan (Chicago).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention is directed to compositions comprising a mixture of microbes and the metabolites produced when the microbes are grown together. The invention is further directed to methods for making and using the compositions."
