ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,682, issued on April 15, was assigned to Purdue Research Foundation (West Lafayette, Ind.).
"Compositions and methods for controlling food intake of animal" was invented by Kee-Hong Kim (West Lafayette, Ind.) and Yuyan Zhu (Shenzhen, China).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "A composition comprising an active agent that inhibits acyl-coenzyme A:cholesterol acyltransferase (ACAT) is provided.
