ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,357,624, issued on July 15, was assigned to Prilenia Neurotherapeutics Ltd. (Yakum, Israel).

"Low dose pridopidine for Parkinson's Disease and other diseases associated with parkinsonism" was invented by Michael Hayden (Herzliya, Israel), Michal Geva (Even-Yehuda, Israel) and Angela Cenci Nilsson (Lund, Sweden).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The subject invention provides a method for treating Parkinsonism or symptoms thereof by low dose pridopidine."

The patent was filed on Feb. 4, 2020, under Application No. 17/425,951.
