ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,344,676, issued on July 1, was assigned to PRECISION BIOLOGICS INC. (Bethesda, Md.).
"Recombinant monoclonal antibodies and corresponding antigens for colon and pancreatic cancers" was invented by J. Andrew Bristol (Rockville, Md.) and Judith A. Kantor (Glenshaw, Pa.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides for recombinant monoclonal antibodies that bind to human colorectal and pancreatic carcinoma-associated antigens, along with nucleic acid sequences encoding the antibody chains, and the amino acid sequences corresponding to the nucleic acids, and uses for these antibodies, nucleic acids and amino acids."
