ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,360,325, issued on July 15, was assigned to PPC BROADBAND INC. (East Syracuse, N.Y.).

"Connector storage for securely holding an unused fiber optic connector while minimizing the contact area between the connector storage and the connector" was invented by Robert Schiffbauer (Olathe, Kan.), Peter Carapella (Fayetteville, N.Y.) and Steven M. Waldren (Roanoke, Va.).
