ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,473,615, issued on Nov. 18, was assigned to PARKER LODGE HOLDINGS LLC (Elmhurst, Ill.).

"Metallic matrix composite with high strength titanium aluminide alloy matrix and in situ formed aluminum oxide reinforcement" was invented by Scott Richard Holloway (Calgary, Canada).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Metallic matrix composites include a high strength titanium aluminide alloy matrix and an in situ formed aluminum oxide reinforcement.
