ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,252,546, issued on March 18, was assigned to OSE IMMUNOTHERAPEUTICS (Nantes, France).
"Anti-SIRPa antibodies and their therapeutic applications" was invented by Nicolas Poirier (Treillieres, France), Caroline Mary (Sainte-Pazanne, France), Bernard Vanhove (Reze, France), Vanessa Gauttier (Reze, France), Virginie Thepenier (Port-Saint-Pere, France) and Sabrina Pengam (Nantes, France).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides new anti-SIRPa antibodies able to specifically antagonize the interaction between SIRPa and CD47, without affecting the interaction between SIRPg and CD47, and their uses."
