ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,122,975, issued on Oct. 22, was assigned to Novum Nano LLC (Rapid City, S.D.) and South Dakota Board of Regents (Pierre, S.D.).

"Lubricant with nanoparticulate additive" was invented by Craig Bailey (Rapid City, S.D.), Greg Christensen (Hermosa, S.D.) and Haiping Hong (Rapid City, S.D.).
