ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,384,791, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to NOVITA PHARMACEUTICALS INC. (New York) and CORNELL UNIVERSITY (Ithaca, N.Y.).
"Methods for inhibiting fascin" was invented by Xin-Yun Huang (New York) and Christy Young Shue (Irvine, Calif.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided are compositions and methods for treating a condition or disorder mediated by fascin activity in a subject in need thereof which method comprises administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of at least one compound of any one of Formula I-a to I-n, II, II-a, II-b or III or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof."
