ALEXANDRIA, Va., Dec. 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,492,164, issued on Dec. 9, was assigned to Northwestern University (Evanston, Ill.).

"Fluorine substituted cyclohexene analogues of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA)" was invented by Richard B. Silverman (Winnetka, Ill.) and Wei Zhu (Evanston, Ill.).
