ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,253,493, issued on March 18, was assigned to Nisshinbo Holdings Inc. (Tokyo), Japan Radio Co. Ltd. (Tokyo) and Ueda Japan Radio Co. Ltd. (Ueda, Japan).

"Gas sensor with indirect pass-through ventilation" was invented by Daisuke Seo (Ueda, Japan) and Yasuhiro Toriyama (Mitaka, Japan).
