US Patent Issued to NightHawk Designs and Solutions on May 6 for "Lighted gaiters" (Georgia, Florida Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 10 -- United States Patent no. 12,290,118, issued on May 6, was assigned to NightHawk Designs and Solutions LLC (Cumming, Ga.).

"Lighted gaiters" was invented by John Ng (Cumming, Ga.), Jason Laury (Rome, Ga.) and Israel Pacheco (Sebastian, Fla.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is disclosed apparel for providing protection and illumination. In an embodiment, a gaiter has a top portion and a bottom portion with a layer of material extending therebetween. The layer of material provides a protective covering to a lower limb of the user.
