ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,355,817, issued on July 8, was assigned to Netskope Inc. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Data loss prevention (DLP) for cloud resources via metadata analysis" was invented by Sudha Iyer (Sunnyvale, Calif.), VenkataSwamy Pathapati (Koduru Mandal, India), Kenil Patel (Surat, India) and Krishna Narayanaswamy (Saratoga, Calif.).
