ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,274,986, issued on April 15, was assigned to National University of Singapore (Singapore).
"Inorganic porous membrane" was invented by John Wang (Singapore), Zhiyang Lyu (Singapore), How Yong Ng (Singapore), Tze Chiang Albert Ng (Singapore) and Jun Ding (Singapore).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "There is provided an inorganic hierarchical porous membrane comprising at least two layers, wherein each layer of the at least two layers comprises a different average pore size as compared to another layer of the at least two layers, and wherein the membrane comprises a patterned surface. There is also provided a method of forming the membrane."
