ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,279,530, issued on April 15, was assigned to NATIONAL TSING HUA UNIVERSITY (Hsinchu, Taiwan).

"Augmented logarithmic spiral antenna structure applied to electromagnetic wave energy absorber, thermoelectric energy harvester, photoconductive antenna, array antenna and rectenna" was invented by Wei-Chih Wang (Sammamish, Wash.), Prabir Garu (Hsinchu, Taiwan) and Fiona Marie Wang (Seattle).
