ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,442,821, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to NATIONAL CHENG KUNG UNIVERSITY (Tainan, Taiwan).
"Kit of in vitro quantifying large surface protein of hepatitis B virus (HBV), biomarker set for analyzing phases of HBV infection and hepatoma prognosis, and set of monoclonal antibodies for predicting, diagnosing or treating chronic liver disease" was invented by Wen Ya Huang (Tainan, Taiwan), Chia Jui Yen (Tainan, Taiwan) and Yun-Ping Lee (Tainan, Taiwan).
