ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 19 -- United States Patent no. 12,255,630, issued on March 18, was assigned to Murata Manufacturing Co. Ltd. (Nagaokakyo, Japan).

"Transversely-excited film bulk acoustic resonator with oxide strip acoustic confinement structures" was invented by Andrew Kay (Provo, Utah), Sean McHugh (Santa Barbara, Calif.), John Koulakis (Los Angeles) and Albert Cardona (Santa Barbara, Calif.).
