ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,327,670, issued on June 10, was assigned to Modular Power Technology Inc. (Sunnyvale, Calif.).
"Apparatus for an inductor disposed in a band for method of heat dispersion" was invented by Dhammika L. Perera (San Jose, Calif.), John Weld (Ledgewood, N.J.) and Matthew Wilkowski (Rockwell, Texas).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Embodiments of the present disclosure include an apparatus having a band including a high thermally conductive material is disposed at least partially around an inductor."
The patent was filed on Aug. 31, 2023, under Application No. 18/459,127.
