US Patent Issued to ModernaTX on July 15 for "Modified nucleosides, nucleotides, and nucleic acids, and uses thereof" (New York, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 16 -- United States Patent no. 12,357,708, issued on July 15, was assigned to ModernaTX Inc. (Cambridge, Mass.).

"Modified nucleosides, nucleotides, and nucleic acids, and uses thereof" was invented by Jason P. Schrum (Philadelphia), Suhaib Siddiqi (Burlington, Mass.) and Kenechi Ejebe (New York).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure provides modified nucleosides, nucleotides, and nucleic acids, and methods of using thereof."
