ALEXANDRIA, Va., March 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,257,284, issued on March 25, was assigned to MEMORIAL SLOAN-KETTERING CANCER CENTER (New York).

"Lantibiotics, lantibiotic-producing bacteria, compositions and methods of production and use thereof" was invented by Eric Pamer (Montclair, N.J.), Sohn Kim (New York), Peter McKenney (New York) and Silvia Caballero (Cambridge, Mass.).
