ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 26 -- United States Patent no. 12,235,270, issued on Feb. 25, was assigned to MEMORIAL SLOAN KETTERING CANCER CENTER (New York).
"Depleting tumor-specific tregs" was invented by Alexander Rudensky (New York) and George Plitas (New York).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present invention provides, among other things, methods and compositions for diagnosing and/or treating cancer by targeting CCR8. In particular, the present invention provides technologies for depleting Treg cells, and particularly tumor-infiltrating Treg cells."
The patent was filed on Aug. 5, 2021, under Application No. 17/395,103.
