ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 9 -- United States Patent no. 12,287,336, issued on April 29, was assigned to Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Cambridge, Mass.).
"Protein for rapid, efficient capture of antigens" was invented by Hadley Sikes Johnson (Arlington, Mass.), Eric Alexander Miller (Somerville, Mass.) and Ki-Joo Sung (Minneapolis).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to proteins comprising a target-binding domain for detection of a target of interest, methods, compositions and kits thereof."
The patent was filed on June 7, 2023, under Application No. 18/330,411.
