US Patent Issued to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary on Sept. 2 for "Engineered VEGF variants for retinal neuroprotection, promotion of axon growth and axon regeneration" (American, Chinese Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Sept. 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,404,312, issued on Sept. 2, was assigned to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (Boston).

"Engineered VEGF variants for retinal neuroprotection, promotion of axon growth and axon regeneration" was invented by Yin Shan Eric Ng (North Billerica, Mass.) and Junhui Shen (Hangzhou, China).
