ALEXANDRIA, Va., Oct. 21 -- United States Patent no. 12,440,443, issued on Oct. 14, was assigned to Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary (Boston).
"Nano-emulsion of CBFBeta-RUNX1 inhibitor for ocular drug deliver" was invented by Leo A. Kim (Brookline, Mass.) and Joseph F. Arboleda-Velasquez (Newton, Mass.).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The invention provides ocular formulations and features a nano-emulsion composition, e.g., a nano-emulsion comprising a CBFBeta-RUNX1 inhibitor. The composition comprises a particle with a length of less than 200 nanometers in at least one dimension."
