ALEXANDRIA, Va., Nov. 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,459,903, issued on Nov. 4, was assigned to Mannkind Corp. (Valencia, Calif.).

"Formation of n-protected 3,6-bis-(4-aminoalkyl)-2,5,diketopiperazine" was invented by John J. Freeman (New Fairfield, Conn.), Adrienne Stamper (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Melissa Heitmann (Hopewell Junction, N.Y.).
