ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,342,839, issued on July 1, was assigned to Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC (Chicago).
"Compositions and methods for inhibiting precipitation of dyes in a beverage" was invented by Daniel Piorkowski (Fairfield, Conn.), Thomas Plonski (White Plains, N.Y.) and Karl Ragnarsson (Buffalo Grove, Ill.).
