ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,338,286, issued on June 24, was assigned to KOOKMIN UNIVERSITY INDUSTRY ACADEMY COOPERATION FOUNDATION (Seoul, South Korea).

"Aglycosylated antibody Fc region for treating cancer" was invented by Sang Taek Jung (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea) and Migyeong Jo (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "The present disclosure relates to a polypeptide containing an Fc domain in which a part of an amino acid sequence of a human antibody Fc domain is substituted with another amino acid sequence, or an aglycosylated antibody containing the same.
