ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 -- United States Patent no. 12,369,577, issued on July 29, was assigned to Kittrich Corp. (Pomona, Calif.) and lowa State University Research Foundation Inc. (Ames, Calif.).
"Monoterpenoid/phenylpropanoid-containing compounds and methods of their making and use as baits" was invented by Joel R. Coats (Ames, Iowa), James S. Klimavicz (Ames, Iowa), Edmund J. Norris (Ames, Iowa), Steven M. Bessette (West Palm Beach, Fla.) and A. David Lindsay (Denver).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Disclosed are compounds having a monoterpenoid and/or phenylpropanoid moiety and methods of their making and use as pesticidal compounds, such as insecticidal baits."
