US Patent Issued to KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS on April 15 for "Molybdenum-doped zinc/cobalt oxide electrocatalyst for hydrogen production" (Saudi Arabia Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 5 -- United States Patent no. 12,276,034, issued on April 15, was assigned to KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

"Molybdenum-doped zinc/cobalt oxide electrocatalyst for hydrogen production" was invented by Mohamed Jaffer Sadiq Mohamed (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and Muhammad Ashraf Gondal (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An electrode includes an electrically conductive substrate and a layer of a molybdenum-doped zinc/cobalt oxide (ZnCo2-xMoxO4). The surface of the electrically conductive substrate is at least partially covered by the layer of ZnCo2-xMoxO4, where x is a positive number equal to or less than about 0.1, ...
