ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 23 -- United States Patent no. 12,365,580, issued on July 22, was assigned to KING FAHD UNIVERSITY OF PETROLEUM AND MINERALS (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia) and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (Thuwal, Saudi Arabia).

"Compact enhanced sensitivity temperature sensor using an encapsulated clamped-clamped MEMS beam resonator" was invented by Xuecui Zou (Thuwal, Saudi Arabia), Sally Ahmed (Giza, Egypt), Hossein Fariborzi (Thuwal, Saudi Arabia) and Nizar Jaber (Dhahran, Saudi Arabia).
