ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 18 -- United States Patent no. 12,325,295, issued on June 10, was assigned to KAWASAKI MOTORS LTD. (Hyogo, Japan).
"Off-road vehicle" was invented by Kento Kariya (Akashi, Japan) and Takashi Hisamura (Akashi, Japan).
According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "An off-road vehicle includes a vehicle body 2 having an underguard 1. The underguard 1 has openings 3 that introduce traveling air into the vehicle body 2 and ribs 4 that reinforce the underguard 1 and guide the traveling air passing through the openings 3."
The patent was filed on March 9, 2023, under Application No. 18/119,305.
