ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 6 -- United States Patent no. 12,281,104, issued on April 22, was assigned to Intervet Inc. (Rahway, N.J.).

"Process for the production of ethyl 3-amino-1-[(3R,4S)-4-cyanotetrahydropyran-3-ylpyrazole-4-carboxylate through chiral separation of a racemic mixture" was invented by Christophe Pierre Alain Chassaing (Schwabenheim, Germany) and Karl-Heinz Grimm (Schwabenheim, Germany).
