US Patent Issued to International AIDS Vaccine Initiative on Jan. 27 for "Anti-HIV antibodies" (California Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Jan. 28 -- United States Patent no. 12,534,516, issued on Jan. 27, was assigned to International AIDS Vaccine Initiative (New York).

"Anti-HIV antibodies" was invented by Elise Landais (La Jolla, Calif.) and Devin Sok (San Diego).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are anti-HIV Env antibodies and their use in the treatment or prevention of HIV/AIDS."
