ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 3 -- United States Patent no. 12,343,127, issued on July 1, was assigned to Intel Corp. (Santa Clara, Calif.).

"Non-contact sensing of vital signs" was invented by Rajasekaran Andiappan (Raseborg, Finland), Guoqing Zhang (Tampere, Finland), Ofir Mulla (Petach Tikva, Israel) and Lakshman Krishnamurthy (Portland, Ore.).
