US Patent Issued to Incyte on June 24 for "JAK1 pathway inhibitors for the treatment of cytokine-related disorders" (Pennsylvania, Delaware Inventors)

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 25 -- United States Patent no. 12,336,998, issued on June 24, was assigned to Incyte Corp. (Wilmington, Del.).

"JAK1 pathway inhibitors for the treatment of cytokine-related disorders" was invented by Michael O'Neill Montgomery (Yardley, Pa.), Ahmad Naim (Hatboro, Pa.) and Susan Snodgrass (Greenville, Del.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "This disclosure relates to JAK1 pathway inhibitors and the use thereof in treating cytokine-related diseases or disorders such as cytokine release syndrome (CRS), hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH), macrophage activation syndrome (MAS), and CAR-T-cell-related encephalopathy syndrome (CRES)."
