ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 12 -- United States Patent no. 12,383,541, issued on Aug. 12, was assigned to Incyte Corp. (Wilmington, Del.).

"ALK2 inhibitors for the treatment of anemia" was invented by Francis Seguy (Lausanne, Switzerland), Ekaterine Asatiani (Founex, Switzerland) and Yaoyu Chen (Newark, Del.).

According to the abstract* released by the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office: "Provided herein are methods of treating anemia in a subject in need thereof comprising administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of an ALK2 inhibitor."
